Marie has over 30 years experience in Consulting & Financial Management , as a business owner for over 13 years and before starting her own business held 3 middle management roles in the Corporate World. Commercial Manager AU & NZ for Dialog a Thomson Company one of the worldwide leaders in providing information services, Business Manager of a large practice in the Medical industry and Finance Manager & Company Secretary for mid tier construction company.
All of these companies went thru the various transition of growth and takeovers. During these times, Marie also always had offsite bookkeeping clients for small businesses, as she liked to help friends & family run their businesses. When Marie left Dialog, she knew in her heart that her new direction was in looking after small to medium size businesses that couldn’t afford fulltime financial management in-house, so offered her service on a contract basis to help manage the stress of making their businesses profitable.
Over the last 13 years, Marie has worked with companies across a variety of industries in Australia & Singapore, helping one person businesses to mid-range companies to improve their accounting programs and office procedures, start up new businesses and helping many survive the GFC. Even though contracting her services Marie treats each company as if she is part of the company and is very helpful and supportive of the owners or directors.
